New Cottage in the Woods

The journey of an award-winning custom home builder, Rick Bernard, building his personal, experimental home, the new cottage in the woods. Built in the foothills of the Coast Range just west of Portland, Oregon, the cottage will feature net zero construction methods and solar power to move off the grid, low maintenance, and a home where spirit resides inside and out.
